Pawan Kalyan In Telugu Remake of Pink: It has been officially confirmed that Power Star Pawan Kalyan will act in Telugu movie remake of Pink in which Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu played the lead roles. Following tweets by trade analysts Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahta on Saturday afternoon, fans of the #PSPSK went into a tizzy on the social media, sort of celebrating Pawan Kalyan‘s ‘return’. Pawan Kalyan was last seen in 2018’s Agnyaathavaasi, which somehow did not garner impressive traction, prompting speculation that he may be taking a break from films while shifting his complete focus to politics.

As per Taran Adarsh, the Telugu remake of PINK will be co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju and will be helmed by Sriram Venu. We’ll take Boney Kapoor’s re-tweeting of Taran Adarsh’s post as confirmation. Boney Kapoor also produced the Tamil remake of Pink – Nerkonda Paarvai Starring Ajith Kumar, the film released this year which was directed by H Vinoth. The Nerkonda Paarvai movie was turned out blockbuster at the box-office and earned over Rs 150 crore.
The Pink Hindi Film directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, written by Ritesh Shah, and produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms (Pawan Kumar and Rashmi Sharma), Sheel Kumar, Shoojit Sircar and has won the Best Film on Social Issues at the 64th National Film Awards.
