AP Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said Andhra Pradesh Schools Reopen from 16th August 2021. Minister Suresh said that online classes for the session will begin on July 12. Further, the minister added that the teachers of the state will be trained on workbooks from July 15 to August 15.”

Andhra Pradesh government will definitely implement New Education Policy (NEP). The NEP implementation will not lead to shutting down of any schools nor will the post of any teacher be reduced,” Suresh said. The result for Intermediate (Class 12) students will be issued before the end of July. The state education minister informed that the marks would be announced on the basis of 30 percent of Class 10, and 70 percent of Inter-first year (Class 11) marks.

Mr. Suresh said the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had asked the authorities to prepare a budget of ₹16,000 crores for implementation of the Nadu-Nedu program and wanted all works in progress under the scheme to be completed by August.

The Andhra Pradesh State would implement the New Education Policy, he said and went on to clarify that this would not result in the closure of schools or reduce the number of teacher posts. Referring to the proposed foundation schools, Minister Suresh said additional rooms would be constructed for the purpose in the next 2 years.
