The Governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Nominated for the prestigious Scotch Awards 2020. The Scotch Award was given for excellence and innovation in various departments in both Telugu states. The Scotch Award was given to the Mineral Development Corporation for the sale and management of sand in Telangana. In addition, the Scotch Awards went to Information Technology, Electronics, Communication, and Tea-Chips. This was revealed by the Chief Secretary of the Telangana IT Department.
In Andhra Pradesh, the State Panchayati Raj and the Rural Development Department received 5 Scotch awards. The Government sources said the awards came in the categories of employment guarantee implementation, management and capacity building. The IT department secretary said on Twitter that the respective departments in Telangana have been selected for the Scotch award and Minister KTR congratulated the IT department for being nominated for the Scotch Award.
