Former Telangana TDP Chief Ramana joins TRS Party

Former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president of Telangana L Ramana formally joined TRS Party.

Former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president of Telangana L Ramana Joins TRS in the presence of party working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) at Telangana Bhavan and later got the TRS party membership. Mr. Ramana met with the ministers, Koppula Eshwar, and Errabelli Dayakar Rao, later in the ministers’ quarters.

The meeting lasted for about an hour and they discussed party affairs and government schemes. It is learned that they also discussed the upcoming Huzurabad by-election. The meeting was also attended by Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaya Yadav, MLAs Vidyasagar Rao, and Dr. Sanjay.

L.Ramana joins TRS Party:

Ramana, who served in Telugu Desam Party for over 30 years, was working as the president of its Telangana unit after the state formation. Ramana had earlier served as a Minister during the TDP regime in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and also represented the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency in the Parliament.

However, L.Ramana had submitted his resignation to TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) recently informing that in the wake of changing political equations in Telangana State, Ramana had decided to join the TRS and remain closer to the people of Telangana State as well as participate in its progress.
