Maharshi Movie Review:
Vamshi Paidipally has chosen an interesting subject that deals with a burning social issue of farmers’ suicide. Some comedy scenes keep you engaged in the first half of Maharshi, but it is slow and lengthy. The second half is high on emotional quotient, but it is predictable and routine. At times, the Maharshi movie becomes too preachy, which may not go down well with many, says the audience.
Maharshi Movie Cast Performances:
The Superstar Mahesh Babu is at his best in younger Rishi role, looked ravishing as CEO. However performance wise, his signature scenes are amiss. Pooja Hegde did her job well, looked beautiful as well. While Allari Naresh is impressive, Jagapathi Babu has been wasted. Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Sai Kumar like seasoned artists are there but no good scenes for them to perform.
Maharshi Telugu Movie Verdict:
#Maharshi works beautifully as an emotional tale of a self-made man who wants to give back to society. Maharshi is a milestone for Mahesh Babu which should be appreciated as a Good attempt but might leave fans wanting for more. First, half the film is decent, the second half is slow paced one until pre-climax. Decent climax, pre-climax scenes come to the rescue of the film to an extent. Given the summer season and no competition, the Maharshi movie might get some eyeballs.
