The Tollywood Director Kodi Ramakrishna Passed Away on Friday who was hospitalized a couple of days ago, breathed his last today at AIG Hospital in the Gachibowli, Hyderabad. He was put on life support and monitored by a battery of doctors including the general physician, neurology and cardiologist. Kodi Ramakrishna had earlier suffered a heart attack and a paralytic attack. However, he made a quick recovery and continued making films. Kodi Ramakrishna directed several superhit movies in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films, In a career spanning over three decades, Kodi Ramakrishna helmed over 100 films. 

Kodi Ramakrishna was born in Palakollu, West Godavari district. Before directing films he worked as Associate Director in Korikale Gurralaithe. Some of his most well-known movies like Intlo Ramayya Veedilo Krishnayya, Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Thalambralu, Aahuthi, Bharatamlo Bala Chandrudu, Station Master, Muddula Mavayya, Maa Aavida Collector, Pelli, Dongaata, Ankusham, Bharat Bandh, Sathruvu, Gudachari No.1, Gudachari 117, Ammoru, Devi, Devullu, Devi Putrudu, Anji and Arundhati.

Kodi Ramakrishna has also acted in few movies like Dongata, Attagaaroo Swagatam, Inti Donga, Aasti Mooredu Aasha Baaredu, and Mudilla Muchata. Director Kodi Ramakrishna last directorial was Avatharam in 2014, a devotional film.
