Telangana Government to Launch ‘T-Wallet’ Mobile App For Cashless Transactions – IT Minister KTR


Telangana Government Launch T-Wallet App: The Telangana government is soon planning to introduce its own T-Wallet in the State. Speaking at the initiative of the T-wallet the Telangana State IT Minister K T R has conducted a meeting in Hyderabad on Saturday. 

Telangana is all set to become the first state in the country to introduce its own e-wallet named ‘T-Wallet’ to push for cashless transactions.Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) will launch the logo of government’s mobile app for digital financial transactions during the Collectors’ conference on 14th December 2016.
Telangana’s IT Minister KTR held a review meeting with IT Department officials regarding the development of T-Wallet mobile application and instructed them to give utmost priority to data security and user privacy issues in the application.The minister also said that T-Wallet will be a full-fledged mobile payment system of Telangana government and not mere an aggregator of payment apps.The T-Wallet app would be available for computer, laptop, tablet, smartphones, and also users without a phone too.
