Telangana Formation Day 2019 Celebrations: The Telangana State which was formed on 2nd June 2014 was an important day for all the residents of the Telangana as the long-standing demand of separate state was fulfilled on the day. On the day, A Telangana State was bifurcated from united Andhra Pradesh giving birth to 29th State of the country. It may be mentioned that the Andhra Pradesh was formed on 1st November 1956 after merging Andhra Pradesh State and Telangana region of Hyderabad State.
After many agitations and dharnas, Telangana State comes into reality on 2nd June 2014. Telangana State is going to celebrate its formation day on 2nd June 2019. Telangana name is derived from Telugu Angana word, which means a place where Telugu is spoken. In the era of the Nizams that is around 1724-1948, they used word Telangana which differentiate it from the Marathi speaking regions of their kingdom.
