Tamanna Simhadri says she has come to the house to know herself better. Tamanna Simhadri was the first woman to contest in Andra Pradesh Assembly elections. She contested in Mangalagiri against Nara Lokesh of TDP and Alla Ramakrishna Reddy of the YSRCP. In an interview, Tamanna Simhadri stated that she first approached JanaSena for a ticket. But as Janasena didn’t contest in Mangalagiri directly (though their alliance contested), she didn’t get the ticket. So she contested individually. However, she lost the elections with 45 votes.
The 34-year-old transgender woman also runs an NGO working for the welfare of women and the transgender community named Triveni. The Tamanna Simhadri is a graduate in Computer Applications. She is also Miss Transgender Mumbai in 2010. So yeah, we have to applaud the makers of The Bigg Boss show for a taking a matured decision to send her to the house. It will be interesting to see how she will be received by the housemates and how she will behave in the house.
