Sai Dharam Tej’s Supreme Movie Review,Rating :
Supreme Movie Story : Jagruthi Trust, located in Anantapuram , has few thousands of acres of land registered for it and has virtually no apparent heir. The livelihood of 15,000 people is dependent on these trust lands. In such a situation, politically influential millionaire ‘Vikram Sarkar’ (Kabir Dulhan Singh) eyes on Jagruthi trust, and with the help of forged documents he is able to convince the courts to deliver ruling that trust belongs to him. However, based on the counter request made by the trustee (Sai Kumar), court rules that , if trustee could find and present the heir within 30 days, then ruling will go against Vikram Sarkar. Rest of the story is how the real heir (a kid) is found and brought to the court, with the help of a taxi driver ( Sai Dharam Tej).
Cast and Performance : Sai Dharam Tej as Balu is terrific. He has grown as an actor compared to his previous movies. He has all the qualities and capabilities to be a star. He has done a superb job in comic scenes and in emotional scenes. Rashi Khanna as Bellam Sreedevi, SI, is good. She has good comic timing. Rajendra Prasad is superb as a drunkard father. Ravi Kishan of Racegurram fame is nice as Beeku. Child actor Mikhail Gandhi is fantastic. Kabir Duhan Singh as Vikram Sarkar is good. Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Surekha Vani, Thanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Raghu, Srinivasa Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali, Prabhas Sreenu, Prudhvi Raj and other actors performed according to what they are given.
Oppistive Points : One of the biggest assets of the film is the fun part. Credit should completely go to Anil Ravipudi for inducing hilarious comedy at regular intervals. First half of the film is pretty entertaining and has all the elements which will go well with everyone.
Sai Dharam Tej is completely at ease now and shows superb improvement in his performance and dances. Interesting aspect is that the young actor allows others to take centre stage and still looks confident in what ever he does on screen.
Negative Points : story of the film is a huge let down. After the first fifteen minutes, you exactly know what is going to happen next. Second half of the film moves on a single thread and does not have many interesting moments. One devotional song that comes during the second half could have been edited out to make the film racy. Logic goes for a toss in certain areas. The way Sai Dharam Tej goes about searching for the little boy in Orrisa and some of his heroic moments look silly at times.
Technical Departments : Tunes rendered by music director Sai Karthik are nice. Bellam Sreedevi had already become a chartbuster. Andham Hindolam remix is also nice. Background music is also good. Cinematography by Sai Sreeram is superb. Visuals are nice. Editing is okay and could have been better. Stunts are well choreographed. Production values are rich.
Verdict : Supreme Movie, Sai Dharam is surely going to go one step higher towards his stardom. Entertaining comedy through out the film and some well executed emotions are basic assets. If you ignore the predictable story line and go with the flow of the film, Supreme is a typical popcorn entertainer which will not disappoint you this weekend.
Indiantalks : Supreme Movie Rating – 3.5/5
