Lakshminarayana is now the AP BJP chief. Lakshminarayana won the presidency in 2018 exceptionally better than joining the BJP from the Congress party. There are claims that Lakshminarayana was tied to the party presidency at a time when the sector was preparing to join rather than join the YCP. The BJP, led by Kanna Lakshminarayana, lost the 2019 elections badly.
Since then, there has been more talk of removing Lakshminarayana from the post of party chief. At this juncture, everyone thought that Somu Weeraraj, a decades-long association with the RSS and a key leader in the BJP, would become the party president. Despite rumors that MLC Madhav would step down in the middle, senior party leader Somu Veerraju was finally given the presidency.
@BJP4Andhra @somuveerraju pic.twitter.com/yKx91dTt4q
