Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Satya Nadella Tops Fortune Businessperson of the Year 2019 List, an annual compilation that also includes Mastercard CEO Ajay Banga and Arista head Jayshree Ullal. Fortune‘s annual Businessperson of the Year list features 20 business leaders, who tackled audacious goals, overcame impossible odds and found creative solutions. Ajay Banga is ranked 8th, while Jayashree Ullal comes in at the 18th spot in the list. Satya Nadella was followed by Australia’s Fortescue Metals Group CEO Elizabeth Gaines and Chipotle Mexican Grill’s CEO Brian Niccol.
Fortune’s annual Business Person of the Year list includes 20 business leaders who have achieved bold goals, find solutions to impossible situations and find creative solutions. Fortune has taken 10 points into consideration while preparing this list, ranging from the total return received by the shareholders to the return on capital.
