Royal Enfield Bikes Sold Over 70,000 Bikes In January 2019 in the domestic market. The company, however, The Royal Enfield Bikes sold 76,205 units in the same month last year, accounting a decline of 7 percent. The Chennai based bikemaker sold 1,829 units in the export markets as opposed to 1,673 units in the same month a year ago. The Royal Enfield Bikes total sales (domestic + exports) stood at 72,701 units as against 77,878 units in January 2018.

From April 2018 to January 2019, Royal Enfield witnessed a growth of 5 percent with the dispatch of 702,637 units as against 671,328 units in the same period a year ago. In the domestic market, the bike maker managed to sell 6,86,773 registering a growth of the 5 percent. International sales, however, grew only by the 1 percent with total sales of 15,864 units.

Royal Enfield will soon introduce a Royal Enfield Bullet 350 with dual channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) in the country. The ABS version of the motorcycle is estimated to be around Rs 14,000 more expensive than the non-ABS model. Currently, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES comes with a price tag of Rs 1.28 lakh and the Royal Enfield standard model costs Rs 1.28 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
