Reliance Jio Phone Delivery Status


Reliance Jio Phone Delivery Date: The Reliance Jio Phone booking was commenced on 24th August 2017 and continued till early on August 26 before the company stopped taking Jio Phone pre-orders, both online and offline. About 6 million Jio Phone have been booked. However, the bookings have been suspended on the official website Jio.com and people can only register their interest in Jio Phone for now.
The Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani had announced at the time of unveiling the handset that company aims to deliver 5 million units per week.It is still unknown as to when will the pre-booking be resumed.The customers who had booked Jio phone are waiting for the phones to get in their hands.

Jio Phone Pre-Booking Status:

  • People who had pre-booked the Jio Phone can check the status of their device by following the simple procedure.
  • Customers need to dial 18008908900 and need to share their registered mobile number to know the status of Jio Phone.
  • This can be done via MyJio app as well. Open the app and click on ‘My Vouchers’ tab.

Reliance Jio Phone Delivery Date:

According to sources, Jio Phone deliveries will begin on Navratri, which falls on September 21 this year. Each user will receive the delivery schedule and details of the offline store their unit can be picked up from via SMS.
Jio phones are being imported from Taiwan. These phones will land at various locations in India, hence these locations may get the delivery first. Some of the locations where Jio phones will land first are – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
After landing at these locations, the Jio phones will be sent to Jio Centres and Reliance Digital stores from where they will be directly sent to the dealers. The firm will also use the services other logistic companies to make deliveries of Jio Phone.
Although, the handset is “essentially free,” buyers have to pay Rs. 1,500 as security deposit – Rs. 500 at the time of booking and the remaining Rs. 1,000 at the time of picking it up.
