Redmi Note 7 Series Sold Over 15 Million Units: The Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the first Redmi Note 7 smartphone in China back in January, and the Redmi Note 7 Pro made its global debut in India in February. Today the company has announced that the combined sales of the Redmi Note 7 series have hit 15 million units globally in about six months of the launch. Back in May, The Xiaomi company announced 10 million global sales of the phone in 4 months. To celebrate this Xiaomi India has announced a 3-day special open sale for the smartphone on mi.com and Flipkart.
Xiaomi Global Spokesperson Donovan Sung has taken to Twitter to confirm that the Redmi Note 7 series – which consists of the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, and The Redmi Note 7 Pro has hit the 15 million worldwide shipment mark. This is a commendable feat and is a testimony to the fact that the Redmi Note 7 series has been immensely popular. To recall, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has exclusively been launched in India and China, Xiaomi’s Regional Director for Southeast Asia, John Chen had announced in March this year.
In India, Redmi Note 7 series crossed the 1 million sales milestone in just around a month of hitting the shelves and it surpassed the mark of 2 million units in early May. Redmi Note 7 Series Sold Over 15 Million Units Globally in 6 Months
The Xiaomi company is all set to launch Redmi K20 series in India on July 17th, but these phones will not affect the sales of Redmi Note 7 series since the price will be higher.
