Without any delay, Prashanth proposes marriage to another girl called Richa, the daughter of a rich businessman (Anish Kurivilla) who asks Prashanth to prove that he is good for business. On Anish’s insistence, Vijay joins hands with Ritu for a food business as cooking is Vijay’s passion. What happens later forms the crux of the story.

Positive Points: The Pelli Choopulu Movie is a refreshing rom-com in Telugu with no action elements involved. Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma’s subtle performance makes you believe that these characters exist for real. Nothing is overdone in the film and entertainment too is relatable to our daily lives.

The Priyadarshi who played Vijay’s friend in this movie creates laugh riot with his dialogues and is a natural performer. A dialogue that will leave you in fits is “Na saavu na ishtam neek enduku”. Tharun Bhascker has made an impressive mark and Pelli Choopulu film will remain one of the biggest hits this year. Not to forget, Vivek Sagar’s music is loved more when you listen to it while watching the movie on the screen.

Negative Points: The Film gets slow and predictable in the second half.

Verdict: On the whole of Pelli Choopulu is a refreshing film with a breath of fresh air. With no sumo or sword sequences, Pelli Choopulu as the title suggests is a cool and breezy movie. It is a must watch in theatres which can’t be given a miss it.
