Download YouTube TV App: The YouTube TV streaming service has gone live today in five US cities. The service bundles content from networks and about 35 of other cable networks for $35 per month.
YouTube is rolling out a new streaming service in the US, called the YouTube TV app, which comes as an alternative to the cable box.The company announced back in February that it would launch a new TV service for $35 per month and the company has now launched the service in five US major cities – Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
The new YouTube TV service debuts with a bunch of U.S. cable channels including ABC, Fox, CBS, NBC, CW, Disney, SyFy, ESPN and 40+ more. The company will be adding new 10 channels to the service in the near future. With this service, people can watch their favorite TV shows without a cable or satellite subscription.
When YouTube announced the service earlier this year that it would enter the crowded streaming service, the company revealed the service will be available in the major US markets and will expand to major cities. The company today morning launched the service in five major cities in the US.
YouTube TV app has a simple design with just three tabs – Home, Library, and Live. You can find movies and the saved stuff in the library section, and the ‘Live’ comprises a big list of live shows and programs playing on every channel that YouTube TV offer.
