Namma Bengaluru Awards 2017: The nomination process for the ninth edition of prestigious annual Namma Bengaluru Awards 2017 instituted by Namma Bengaluru Foundation has begun and citizens are given time till this month end to nominate personalities of extraordinary achievements for the awards, reported Kannada Prabha.
The awards are in the category:
- Government Official of the Year
- Citizen Individual of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- Social Entrepreneur of the Year
- Media Person of the Year
Namma Bengaluru Awards 2017 Nominations close on November 30. The awards will be presented in March, announced Namma Bengaluru Foundation.Bengalureans can fill in their nominations by logging into https://nammabengaluruawards.org/
To launch the nomination process actor Shraddha Srinath put her nominations in the box. Sridhar Pabbisetty, executive officer of the Foundation said nominations will be received until November 30, scrutinized in December and a jury committee of 23 chosen achievers from various fields will make the final selections.
The jury will discuss as per the criteria and finalize 5 to 6 persons. They will be invited for interaction with the judges. After this, the final list will be decided. The awards will be presented at a colorful ceremony on 24 March 2018, he said.
