The Song from Uppena Picturized on Panja Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, both newcomers, the Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram lyrical video’s montage shots, Krithi Shetty has already become a promising debutante.

The Buchi Babu Sana directorial was supposed to head to theatres on April 2. Uppena Starring the Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi as a villain, this Kakinada-based story reportedly is an attempt to tell a raw tale revolving around honour killings. Buchi Babu had written Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam (2018) in association with Sukumar.
The Uppena film’s lead man, Vaisshnav Tej, is megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew. Had the film headed to theatres in summer, he would now have been doing his sophomore movie. The buzz is that he has been asked by Megastar Chiranjeevi, his mother Vijaya Durga, and his elder brother Sai Dharam Tej not to make any further move while Uppena is in the cans. Director Sukumar, too, is believed to have advised him the same.
