The annual Golden Reel Awards 2019 held by the Motion Picture Sound Editors, took place last night and Released MPSE Golden Reel Awards 2019 Winners List. As it turns out, the musical biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” won big with two prizes. After dominating the CAS Awards, the film received more love from the sound branches. However, it wasn’t the only big winner since “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” also dominated. The movie won for Feature Animation and Music Underscore for a Feature Film.

In addition, “A Quiet Place” made its fair share of noise and won the Feature Effects/Foley award. Also, “Roma” managed to win for the Best Sound Editing on a Foreign Language Feature. Meanwhile, on the television side, “Westworld” and “The Americans” were among the many MPSE Golden Reel Awards 2019 winners.
