Local Boy Telugu Movie Story:
Shakti (Dhanush), a small thief, messes up with Neelakantham (Naveen Chandra), a kick-boxing institute owner, in a robbery issue. On the other hand, Kanyakumari (Sneha), who gets released from jail after sixteen years, targets Neelakantham and plans to kill him. Who is Neelakantham? Why has Kanyakumari targeted him? Is there any backstory behind her revenge? How does Shakti fit into the entire plotline? That forms the rest of the story.
Local Boy Telugu Movie Review:
Local Boy starts with the introduction of the mysterious Kanyakumari, played by Sneha, and Dhanush entertains with his funny equation with his sidekick and energetic, terrific dance moves. The scenes involving Mehreen Pirzada do not have any impact, and Local Boy, which moves on a predictable track gains some momentum with a fine interval block.
The second half begins with a very predictable flashback reminding of Mersal, and Local Boy proceeds with the routine training sequences, the only difference being mother training son as Sakthi finally wins Nilan in style as expected to prove Adimurai’s supremacy over kickboxing.
Local Boy Telugu Movie Verdict:
OverAll Local Boy Movie is a well-made commercial entertainer with good performances that highlights our ancient martial arts. The film follows the usual underdog-becomes-champion template, so all that matters is how well it engages and entertains you.
