Krishnashtami Movie Review: Sunil who is a star comedian once tried his luck as Hero in Andala Ramudu and he started his full-time acting as Hero from Maryada Ramanna, directed by S S Rajamouli. He scored some decent hits in the beginning and duds after that. He is once again coming as Hero in the movie “Krishnastami”, a high budgeted family entertainer directed by Vasu Varma, produced by Dil Raju under his SVC Banner. Let’s see how it works on us!!

Sunil’s Krishnashtami Movie Review Telugu Movie Rating and Audience Response Publick Talk
Krishnashtami Story: Krishna Varaprasad (Sunil Varma) a happy-go-lucky guy in America. Stays in America from past 18 years due to some issues, but he pens to return back home. On his way he bumps into Pallavi (Nikki Galrani), who follows her Pallavi Philosophy to the core. In this process, Krishna goes overboard to impress Pallavi with a Nenokkadine disorder. After a small tour of Europe, the inevitable happens as the two fall in love. A couple of sings a thons later, Krishna returns back to Andhra Pradesh and the problem starts when Krishna tries to help Ajay Kumar (Ajay) as he lives on a helping motto.
Krishna is compelled by the goodness of Ajay’s heart to his help and leaves Nagalapalli to meet Ashutosh Rana’s family. Who is Ashutosh Rana? Whats his issues with Krishna’s family? Whats his issue with Ajay? And this folk, is where the ride ends. If wanna know how this particular muddle is resolved, go ahead and check out the film.
Performance: Sunil as Krishna Vara Prasad is superb and carries the whole film on his shoulders. He is once again back with his dance movements. Nikki Galrani as Pallavi is good. She makes a superb debut into Telugu with this movie. But her character in this movie has a lot of resemblances and findings with that of Kajal Aggarwal’s character in NTR’s Baadshah. Sapthagiri is at his usual best. His acts are funny throughout the movie. Pisani is good in his role. Ajay did his role well. Mukesh Rishi is nice. Dimple is good in her glamorous role. Ashutosh Rana, 30 years Prudhvi, Viva Harsha, Chitram Seenu, Pallavi, and others are good in their respective roles.
Technical Departments: Music by Dinesh is okay. None of the songs are worth remembering after coming out of the theater. Background music is good. Cinematography by Chota K Naidu is superb. His taste of colors and his visual sense is proved again. His visuals are of the master class. Editing by is average. Action by Arasu composed well. Art direction by S Ravinder is nice. Dance moves choreographed are good. Production values are nice.
Analysis: Hardly a couple of weeks ago, wall posters of this film started showing up on nooks and corners of the city. While the posters and trailers failed to generate any interest among many, the film will further disinterest those few who were enticed to the theaters. The story wise there is nothing new, the execution is superbly boring and even “Krishna Vamsi” couldn’t have possibly turned this into the family drama it boasts of being. Unnecessary tracks add to the misery of having to bear this idiocy. Stay away from this superb plan of drilling a hell out of you.
