Democratic candidate Joe Biden becomes 46th President of the United States on November 7, beating incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump, by securing more than the required 270 of 538 Electoral College votes needed to win the White House. Mr. Joe Biden running mate, Kamala Devi Harris, a U.S. Senator from California, will become the first woman and first Indian- and African-American Vice-President of the country. Mr. Biden will inherit, from President Donald Trump, a deeply divided country, battered by the coronavirus pandemic, facing high levels of unemployment and fraying race relations.

The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me,” Mr. Joe Biden said on Twitter, in his first public reaction to the news.

Joe Biden emerged victorious in the race of the 46th Presidential elections of the US. He was the former Vice President of the United States. Born in Pennsylvania in 1942, the 77-year-old got elected to the Senate for the first time in 1972. He was also re-elected six times more, thus spending 36 years in the US Senate.
Democrat Joe Biden who will take the charge as the 46th President of the Us took to his Instagram last week to share a post saying, “I know sometimes it can feel like you watch me on TV or you see my social media posts, but you’ve never gotten a chance to meet me in real life.
