Ittefaq Movie Review & Rating: Ittefaq Movie starring Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna, and Sonakshi Sinha, has received good reviews and ratings from the audience around the world. Ittefaq Movie is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions, and BR Studios.It is also being directed by Abhay Chopra, the grandson of the original director BR Chopra.

Ittefaq, which means Coincidence, is a modern adaptation of late Yash Chopra-directed 1969 suspense thriller movie. Abhay Chopra, Shreyas Jain, and Nikhil Mehrotra have tweaked the screenplay in parts to suit the taste of the viewers of the present generation.

Ittefaq Movie Story: Police officer Dev (Akshaye Khanna) is investigating a double murder case that has only two witnesses – acclaimed writer Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra) and young homemaker Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), who are also the prime suspects. But both of them have different narratives about the events of that fateful night. Both the stories seem true but there can only be one truth. How Dev unravels the mystery forms the crux of Ittefaq.

Analysis: The Director Abhay Chopra has managed to retain the soul of the original movie, but made certain changes in the screenplay, which are good. The director is successful in make the film a nail-biting watch. He has maintained the suspense element so well that you will not able to guess who is the murderer until the end of the movie, say the audiences.

Performances: Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye, and Sonakshi Sinha have delivered sterling performances, which are the highlights of Ittefaq. Manoj Joshi, Parul Gulati, Mir Sarwar, Shankar Yadav, Gireesh Sahedev, Himanshu Kohli and Kimberly Louisa McBeath have also done justice to their roles, say the viewers.

Soundtrack: The music for Ittefaq movie is composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The lyrics have been penned by Tanishk Bagchi & Groot. The movie has only a single song.

Technical: Ittefaq movie has been jointly bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar under the banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions and it has decent production values. The brilliant background score, action choreography, picturisation and special effects are the attractions on the technical front, say the filmgoers.
