Germany has been one of the potential key international markets for Indian movies in recent years. Several Indian movies were released in Germany and had done well at the German box office.” Ich Bin Baahubali,” the Deutsch-dubbed version of SS Rajamouli’s “Bahubali: The Beginning,” has failed to make good collections at the German box office in its opening weekend.

“Ich Bin Bahubali” was expected to start with a bang at the ticket counters in the country, which has been one of the potential international markets for Indian movies in recent years. But the dubbed version of “Bahubali: The Beginning” opened to a lukewarm response. The film collected €4,166 (Rs. 3.17 lakh) from 29 screens at the German box office over 1st weekend.

Bahubali The Beginning Movie is India’s biggest hit film. Globally the film has done a decent job at the Box office but turned to be an utter flop in Germany.

The overall good show of the SS Rajamouli-directed Telugu movie Bahubali has turned to be a flop show in German theatres. With many high expectations, the movie was released into the theatres. but the collection at the box office in the theatres has proved it to be wrong.

Splendid films are the distributor in Germany for Tollywood movie. The flop show has made the film unit disappointed. The collections are expected to be just 4,166 euros which equal to Rs 3.2 lakhs. In the past, many Indian films, especially Telugu films have done well in the country. But Bahubali movie has the worst situation to face for the first time.

The National Award-winning film is being humiliated by such a fact to face. There was a huge competition at first for the distribution rights in Germany for the film. Actually, the film over there got released with some minor changes as per the country’s interest. It was named as Ich Bahubali. The film has a Disaster show in spite of the efforts made.

Hopefully, this might be a lesson for the Bahubali 2 version before releasing in Germany. The director and the film production unit might take care of the interest of citizens over there. Rana, Anushka, Prabhas and other crew members of the film have expressed shock with this incident.
