Google Triangle App: The Google is working on a new Android mobile application named ‘Google Triangle App‘ to let users “manage” and “block unwanted” data used by their smartphone. By keeping the record on data usage, Google is aiming to help users save their data by using the triangle app.
Now Google is currently testing the app in the Philippines. It lets users see how much data has been consumed during a specified time span. With a special “Data Saver” toggle on the main page. users can block pre-determined apps from consuming data.
The Data usage in a specific app can be temporarily permitted in 10, 30, or 60-minute increments. Other options include completely blocking data or always allowing. In addition, Triangle app users will allow apps use data for a set length of time (10 or 30 minutes) before going back to zero usage.
Google has not officially made any announcement regarding its work on ‘Triangle app’, not since it was discussed in online forums last month. It is yet not sure when the app would be launched or come to other emerging markets. “We have nothing further to announce at this time,” Google told TechCrunch in a statement.
