The Google Photos Testing Pinch-to-Zoom in Videos adding new features of late like movie editor for the web, search for text in pictures, manual face tagging, and more. On similar lines now, Google Photos v4.33 update lets users zoom in while watching videos and as of now, it is an unreleased feature.
According to a report from XDA Developers, Google is testing the feature in the Photos app and the feature is pretty straightforward. Users can pinch to zoom into videos and it works as expected. Until now, Google Photos allowed users to zoom into photos, but not videos. This upcoming feature should be a nifty addition and should be useful to a lot of users. However, the feature is still in testing and we can expect Google to roll it to all users soon.
As you’d expect, the new zoom feature works pretty much like the zoom feature on photos and lets you zoom into videos by using the familiar pinch gesture. While it may not seem all that special, the feature could really come in handy when you want to focus on particular details in a video. Also Read (How to Share Photos Privately Using Google Photos)
As of now, Google has released no information regarding the new feature or its release date. But since the company has already started testing it on the latest version of Google Photos, it shouldn’t be long before it’s released to all users.
