Google Finally, Supports Google Duo Group Video Calling, after testing it earlier this year. This lets you make Google Duo Group Video calls with up to eight people. Similar to Google Duo calls and video messages, group calls are also encrypted end-to-end, said Google. It is available for both Android and iOS. Google Duo added Data Saving mode for Indonesia, India, and Brazil that limits data usage on mobile networks and Wi-Fi on Android Users.

This lets both you and the person you’re calling save data usage in video calls. This will be rolling out to more markets in the coming months. It has also added personalized video messages that let you record messages when you don’t have time to call or when the person you’re calling can’t pick up. You can also personalize video messages by adding text and emojis, or drawing using brushes.

Google Duo Group Video Calling with the whole family:

No need to play telephone, now up to eight people can catch up with group calling on Duo. Group calling is now available globally on both iOS and Android, and like all Duo calls and video messages, group calls are also encrypted end-to-end so your conversations stay private.

Google Duo Data Saving Mode:

Data can be costly, so in select regions including Indonesia, India, and Brazil, you can limit data usage on mobile networks and Wi-Fi on Android. If you turn on Data Saving mode in Settings, both you and the person you’re calling will save on data usage in video calls. Data saving mode will be rolling out to more markets in the coming months.

Google Duo Personalize video messages:

Video messages let you record a quick hello when you don’t have time to call or when the person you’re calling can’t pick up. Now on Android and coming soon to iOS, you can personalize video messages by adding text and emojis, or even drawing on your message using brushes. This is already available on Android and will be available soon to iOS.
