Fortune Businessperson of the Year 2019 list comprises names of three Indian-origin people. These include Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Master Card CEO Ajay Banga and Arista head Jayashree Ullal. Satya Nadella ranks first in this list. Ajay Banga is on 8th and Jayashree Ullal is 18th.

Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Satya Nadella has grabbed the top spot in Fortune’s Businessperson of the Year 2019 list, an annual compilation that also includes Mastercard CEO Ajay Banga and Arista head Jayshree Ullal.

The Fortune’s annual Businessperson of the Year list features 20 business leaders, who tackled audacious goals, overcame impossible odds and found creative solutions. Banga is ranked 8th, while Ullal comes in at the 18th spot on the list. Satya Nadella was followed by Australia’s Fortescue Metals Group CEO Elizabeth Gaines and Chipotle Mexican Grill’s CEO Brian Niccol.
