Flipkart offers curated and personalized video content similar to Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix and other streaming services who also offers curated and personalized content for the Indian audience. The video service from Flipkart doesn’t have a name yet and is simply called video, but it could be called ‘Flick’ once it is launched officially.

Flipkart recently said that it is focusing on attracting customers who are in the age group of 20-30 and people who consume a lot of content and is also planning to draw new users from small towns and cities in India. The Flipkart Videos is currently rolling out for users through Flipkart Android app. This is also available for non-Flipkart Plus users for free. Since it is gradually rolling, it might take some time to be available for everyone.

In an earlier statement, Flipkart had said, “Our video content offering is focused on three primary aspects, keeping in mind our understanding of the market: free, curated and personalised. We believe that our customers shouldn’t pay extra for premium content.”
