Today on the occasion of Varun Tej’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film released the first look poster from soon-to-commence boxing drama, Boxer. Coming on the Boxer First Look Poster, Varun Tej looks rugged and macho in a boxer’ avatar. This is the first time in his filmy career where Varun Tej will be doing a sports-based film.
Varun Tej starrer Boxer is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati, who earlier assisted director Sreenu Vaitla. The Boxer film is being bankrolled by Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda under Renaissance Pictures banner and producer Allu Aravind is presenting this sport based drama under GeethaArts.

Hollywood stunt choreographer Larnel Stovall of Captain America: Civil War fame will be composing the stunts for this upcoming film. Very soon the makers will make an official announcement regarding its female lead.
Varun Tej was last seen in gangster drama Gaddhalakond Ganesh, which was directed by Harish Shankar. The film, which is the remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda, follows the life of Gaddhalakond Ganesh, who captures the imagination of a young filmmaker. The film received a mixed response from the critics and the audience.
