SS Rajamouli’s epic drama Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has been making news ever since it released. After breaking all sort of box office records with lifetime earning of Rs 508.78 crore in India.Baahubali 2’ will be the opening film at the 39th edition of Moscow International Film Festival 2017.Confirming this, director SS Rajamouli said “Very excited to be in Russia for Moscow international film festival. Proud that #Baahubali2 is selected as the opening film,” he added.

The special screening at the film festival is part of a series of events to celebrate the 70 years of bilateral relations between India and Russia.The festival, which is to be held from June 22 to June 29, 
Well, we truly are proud of Rajamouli’s latest achievement and hope that his magnum opus continues to win hearts all over the word.
Interestingly, a few days ago,‘Baahubali 2’ was screened in Romania and received a standing ovation from those in attendance. As such, it can safely be said that this epic drama is a global phenomenon in the truest sense.
In case you did not know, ‘Baahubali 2’ hit screens last month and set the box office on fire while receiving rave reviews along the way. A sequel to the 2015 release ‘Baahubali’, it featured Prabhas in a double role and revolved around the rivalry between two brothers over an ancient kingdom.
Boasting of some stunning visuals, it featured Rana Daggubati as the heartless antagonist. The supporting cast included names such as Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, and Nassar.
Apart from Baahubali, other Indian films that will be screened at the film festival include Konkona Sen Sharma’s A Death in the Gunj as well as Gulshan Grover’s Badman. The festival will be held from June 22 to June 29.
