Allu Arjun’s Yodhavu Malayalam Movie Review Good Response

Allu Arjun’s “Yodhavu,” the Malayalam version of the actor’s blockbuster Telugu movie “Sarrainodu,” was released in nearly 80 theatres in Kerala on Friday, May 27. The Boyapati Srinu-directed movie has opened to a massive response from the South Indian state, where the superstar enjoys a huge fan following.Despite locking horns with Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya’s “School Bus,” Unni Mukundan’s “Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya” and the Tamil movie, “Idhu Namma Aalu,” the Arjun-starrer had grand premiere shows in many parts of Kerala.

The yodhavu movie stars Aadhi, Srikanth, Vinaya Prasad, Suma, etc in the key roles. Rishi Punjabi has handled the cinematography. S Thaman has composed the songs and background score. The movie is produced by Allu Aravind, under the banner Geetha Arts.
 
Sarrainodu,” which was released on 22 April 2016, had also opened to a fabulous response from movie-goers. The action-laden entertainer has performed well at the worldwide box office by entering the Rs. 100 crore club in four weeks. The Telugu movie has minted a gross amount of Rs. 114 crore within 32 days of its release, becoming the biggest earner for Allu Arjun till date.Meanwhile, Allu Sirish, the brother of Arjun, watched the Malayalam version of the Telugu action entertainer in a theatre at Thiruvananthapuram with the fans of superstar Arjun. 
 
Yodhavu Movie Plot: Allu Arjun’s role is that of a military man who quits his army job and has reaches Hyderabad. There he come across a mafia gangs who snatch land from people and their atrocities has increased beyond anybody’s horror. The whole movie is the fight between both
 
Acting : Allu Arjun was entertaining. Adhi played the antagonist role in the movie and he has done a fine job in this movie. Rest of the actors were ok. 
 
Music : Thaman is the music director of Sarrainodu and his songs were ok and was not up to his usual standards, 
 
Technicality : Nothing extraordinary in technical side either. Rishi Punjabi the cinematographer’s work in Yodhavu was just average. Audio Section of Sarrinodu was obviously loud and unbearable at points like any other masala movies have.

Verdict: An average one that will only amuse fans.
