The Popular Tamil television actress VJ Chitra Dies by suicide in the wee hours of December 9. She was 28 years old. VJ Chitra was found hanging in her hotel room in Chennai. According to reports Chithra had completed the shooting of Tamil serial Pandian Stores yesterday and returned to her hotel room at around 2.30 am. Her mortal remains have been kept at Kilpauk Medical College for post-mortem.
Actress VJ Chitra Death News has come across as a huge shock to her colleagues and fans. After the news broke, her fans took to social media to express their shock. The Police officials at Nazrathpettai station have been informed and are now investigating the case. According to the report, Chithra has been staying with her fiance Hemanth at a private hotel in Chennai.
After returning to her hotel room at 2.30 am on December 9, she told Hemanth that she would refresh and be back. However, she did not return for a long time. VJ Chithra’s fiance Hemanth found that her room was locked from the inside and hence sought the help of the hotel staff for a duplicate key. Hemanth and the hotel staff found Chithra hanging from the ceiling fan. Later, a hotel staff alerted Nazrathpettai police were and the formalities were carried out.

It was on August 25 this year when VJ Chitra got engaged to Hemanth in a traditional ceremony. She met him through an arranged marriage set-up. Back in September, Chitra had written a love message for Hemanth on Instagram. “I am who I am because of you. We may have our challenges, our stumbles, and our disagreements, but as long as we are still together and love one another, nothing else matters”, read her post.
