The Kanni Theevu Movie stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Dutta, Ashna Zaveri and Subhiksha in lead roles. KanniTheevu First Look Poster Shows waddling shoulder-deep in water, as a fierce-looking crocodile lurks in the depths. Kannitheevu has cinematography by Chitti Babu, music by Arrol Corelli and editing by Lawrence Kishore. The Kannitheevu film is bankrolled by Sundar Balu himself under his banner, Krithika Productions.
The KanniTheevu first look poster was unveiled by actor Arya on Twitter. Releasing the poster, he tweeted, “Here’s the first look of #kannitheevu Looking forward to stunning action sequences from Chellam varumaaa @varusarath All the best to the team @sundarbalu82 @aiswaryadutta6 @ashnazaveri @subikshaoffl @babuklc.”
“The story revolves around these four girls who are friends residing in a housing board colony. They are on a mission to rescue someone who has gotten into a problem. But then, at a crucial juncture, they find themselves trapped in a lake inhabited by a crocodile. They take on the animal, and try to escape from the lake,” elaborates the director.
Touted to be an action entertainer, the film will have some daredevilry action sequences and one of it involves the crocodile. On the crocodile action sequence, he pointed out, “We will be using a dummy while shooting the scene, but will be creating the crocodile later using visual effects.” This scene was shot in Kerala, we hear from sources.
He reveals that the team will be shooting this particular scene at a lake near Thiruvananthapuram from February 11. The four girls are helped in defeating the crocodile by the boatman, played by Naan Kadavul Rajendran. “He is playing the character of a boatman who helps the protagonist. He will also act as the comic element in the film,” says the director.
