Zee Telugu is bringing to its viewers the biggest sports blockbuster of the year with the world television premiere of ‘Jersey’. The Telugu sport-drama Jersey film starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath will be telecast on 21st July at 5:30 pm on Zee Telugu and Zee Telugu HD. With the plotline of the Jersey Telugu Movie spanning distinct time periods –1986 and 1996, the narrative of the film takes us through the lives of a quintessential middle-class family made up of Arjun, Sarah and their son Ronit.
Actor Nani plays the role of Arjun, an ex-Cricketer who was indisputably the best player of his time and Sarah (played by Shraddha Srinath) who marries him against her father’s wishes. While Arjun is at the pinnacle of his achievements, he quits cricket owing to politics in the selection committee. Hit hard by this, he pulls himself together for the sake of his wife and son. Destiny puts him back into the game after a decade as he wishes to prove himself for the sake of his son.
The Jersey Telugu Movie 2019 is directed by the renowned Gowtham Thinnanuri and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi made viewers fall in love with the characters, while the music scored by Anirudh Ravichander utterly enhanced the viewing experience. Jersey is drama entertainment at its best with authentic characters and captivating narration making it a movie for the ages.
