The premise of Choricha Mamla is a simple one. It is about a thief who goes to do his usual theft and is caught in an unexpected situation. Nandan (Jitendra Joshi) is an honest thief. He would only steal as much is required for him and don’t think about the excess. For example, if he needs a thousand, he will get that much even if a lakh is available at the spot.
Nandan picks a politician’s farm to steal, and everything seems to go according to the plan until the politician arrives. What’s more, he brings a dancer along. Things get further chaotic when two more people get into the farmhouse. What follows is a silly mad ride that is beyond the logic, but is funny as hell.
All one has to do is keep their thinking cap aside while watching the movie as a brainless entertainer. Priyadarshan Jadhav directs the movie. Hemant Dhome, Amruta Khanvikar, Aniket Vishwasrao, Kshitee Jog, etc. play crucial supporting parts in the farcical comedy. Vikas Pawar produces a brainless entertainer.
