The Megastar Chiranjeevi has once again shown his magnanimity to Telugu film industry. On the eve of directors day, which was formed as a mark of respect to the legendary personality of Telugu cinema Dasari Narayana Rao, Mega Star Chiranjeevi Donated 25 Lakhs to the directors association of Tollywood. Chiranjeevi attended a special event held on directors day (May 4th) in Film Nagar, Hyderabad and Chiranjeevi Donated 25 Lakhs announced his contribution to the welfare of the Telugu film directors association.
The association is very much pleased with Chiranjeevi’s act of charity and thanked him. Also, SS Rajamouli donated 50 lakhs and K. Raghavendra Rao announced 25 lakhs to the association. Many Tollywood directors attended this event and paid tributes to Dasari Narayana Rao. Dasari Narayana Rao was very close to Chiranjeevi and both shared a good rapport.Â
On the work front, Mega Star Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the role of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema in Sye Raa. Lady superstar Nayantara is playing the female lead, and apart from lead pair, the Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy film also has Jagapathi Babu, Tamannah Bhatia, Sudeep, Amitabh Bachchan and Brahmaji in supporting roles. After wrapping up the shoot of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Chiranjeevi will start his next project with Koratala Siva.
