The Days after stumbling across Akshara Haasan private pictures which were allegedly leaked on social media, Kamla Haasan’s younger daughter, actress Akshara Haasan Files Case on Sunday an official complaint with the Versova police. A police officer said, “An FIR under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act was registered on her complaint against the unknown suspect. The police are now trying to track the origin of the pictures to trace the suspect.”
According to sources, the actress Akshara Haasan Files Case and told the police that she had noticed that some of her private pictures had been doing the rounds on social media and someone could be trying to harass her. Last week, in a statement issued on Twitter, Akshara Haasan had said, “Recently, some of my private pictures were leaked on the internet. Who did this, or why, is not known to me yet? But what I do know is that it is deeply unfortunate to make a young girl the victim of such an act only for a pervert mind’s enjoyment…”
Her statement further reads, ‘It’s particularly disturbing and deeply upsetting to see that at a time when the nation has woken up to the #metoo movement, there are still people out there who would harass and attempt to share private pictures of a young girl in the public eye only to derive some perverse pleasure that appeals only to them…’
The police official added, “The cyber crime cell of Mumbai police have been conducting a parallel probe in the matter and are trying to track down the IP address from where the pictures were initially shared on the internet to reach the culprit.”
